JSN Education is a fresh initiative founded by James Nichols, a former Headteacher and established leader, bringing a wealth of middle and senior leadership experience from both the state and independent school sectors. The organisation stands on a foundation of proven expertise and an unwavering commitment to educational excellence.

Extensive Leadership Experience

Throughout his career, James has held several leadership roles that have shaped his understanding of what it takes to lead a school to success. From being Headteacher of a thriving all-through independent day and boarding school to serving as a Deputy Head, responsible for safeguarding and school operations, his experience spans multiple facets of educational leadership.

Diverse Leadership Roles

James also served in various roles, including Assistant Head for Learning and Teaching, Head of Sixth Form, and Key Stage Four, as well as positions such as Head of Year, Head of Department, and Head of House. Each role deepened his ability to manage, support, and inspire both students and staff to achieve their full potential.


James is also honoured to continue supporting schools through his training as a Team Inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).

Any! We work with teachers and leaders in all types of schools: primary, secondary, further education, maintained, academy trusts, independent schools, grammar schools, single-sex, co-educational, specialist provision. You name it, we work with it.
